Sunday 19 August:

Formal Opening by Monsieur Hugues Goisbault, Consul General of France, the Honourable Lyle Vanclief MP, Federal Minister of Agriculture, and Ernie Parsons MPP, at 4:00 p.m. Other dignitaries are expected.

Daily 10am to 8pm

Sunday 19 - Friday 24

Open daily at 10:00 a.m. All displays and coffee shop open. Food and bar at 11:00 [Sunday at Noon for bar]

Art and photography exhibitions, book fair, model displays and video shows, marine flea-market and other exhibits Point to Point, Canada Restoration, Parks Canada, are continuous all day.

Various musicians, demonstrations - art, carving, more; radio controlled models, games, activities for youngsters, etc (details tba) Note: Henri Rannou will demonstrate "ships in bottles" Sunday through Wednesday only

Book signings, meet the authors: Mark Finnan, Monday at 1:00 p.m., Peggy deWitt, "County Scenes", Tuesday 21 August at 1 p.m., C.W. Hunt thursday

3:00 p.m. Presentation by M. Frédéric Back (winner of two Oscars) of his film
Le Fleuve aux Grandes Eaux
("The Mighty River" - narrated by Donald Sutherland) followed by a debate on the St Lawrence, Lake Ontario, whales, ecology, etc - speakers and moderator to be confirmed
