The Sailing Yacht Canada Restoration Project

The yacht Canada was originally built in 1898 in Saint John, New Brunswick by William Heans Sr., a naval architect out from England. She is thought to be the oldest Canadian sailing yacht.

The restoration project is located in Kemptville Ontario where the Sailing Yacht Canada is being carefully restored to her original design. You can learn in detail about the project and what current part of the restoration is taking place at this time, when you meet the members of the project at the festival.
